The weather in Thailand is classified as hot and humid, with a long monsoon season. Thailand can be divided into three seasons: Summer (roughly March – May), the Rainy Season (roughly June – October) and Winter (roughly November – February).

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION
While Thai language is the official language of Thailand, English language could also be considered as unofficial second language as it is commonly used in Bangkok and major tourist areas.
Thailand has a tropical climate which is generally hot and humid. The weather in the month of the Conference is roughly around 26-33 degrees Celsius.
The currency of Thailand is the Thai Baht which comes in both coin and banknote forms. Please check daily exchange rate at www.bot.or.th
Thailand Standard time is GMT+7. Thailand does not observe daylight savings.
The standard voltage of power sockets in Thailand is 220 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz, which is a voltage standard for UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa. Visitors from the U.S. and those not on the 220/50 V. should carry a plug-adapter kit.
